Columbia Machine Co. was founded by George Klotzek in 1943. He named his company after the U.S.S. Columbia, the American Navy cruiser know as the "gem of the ocean" that distinguished itself in battle during WWI. George is the inventor of replaceable tapered shaft and a number of other unique machining parts, and Hilmar Molina who has 20 years of experience in machinery.
